Pleasant Hill Restoration of Smoke & Fire Damage

The messy fire from stored artist supplies resulted in a smoke and sooty type of residue problem. The Before Photo illustrates why our distraught customer was so stressed out. Our SERVPRO of North Lilburn FST team contained the affected rooms with poly sheeting and proceeded to sponge down the black, oily coating from the walls, ceiling, and belongings. The physical damage to the pine boards was negligible. The best option was to "ice blast with CO2 pellets" and scrape off the remaining defects in the cleaned wood. We completed the service by sanding and refinishing the surfaces and installing a new ceiling fan. The homeowner was extremely pleased with the outcome, alleviating his tension and assisting with the insurance claim, and he felt "Like it never even happened."
