Flood in a Maintenance Area in Norcross

The back area of this maintenance building in Norcross suffered water damage from a broken water line. The potable water posed no health hazards since it was quickly suctioned up using our wet vacuums. We set up heaters and dehumidifiers to extract the remaining moisture from the concrete flooring, plywood cabinets, and the metal filing cabinets, and locker legs to prevent rusting. All the items were salvageable thanks to our fast water removal. We conducted a walk through with the maintenance supervisor to verify that the affected building area was once again high and dry. We sprayed a deodorizer to help with the air quality as we successfully helped another municipal building out of a water problem. Count on SERVPRO for help, and help fast.
